The processes flow’s steps are detailed

• Fish caught in boats are bought by our fishermen to the port and then transported to the factory in trucks.
• Upon arrival at the processing unit, the fish are taken to the receiving area where the fish is weighed and then put into large tubs for chilling. These tubs contain sea water and ice which bring down the temperature of the fish to zero(0) degrees so that the fish don’t lose its freshness in the process of cleaning and/or gutting.
   
  

• The next step is to clean the fish and then put them in trays. This is done by skilled staff who pack the trays with fish before they are stacked in the blast freezers. During this packing, our laboratory does an intensive check for any bacterial content and if found, the entire load of fish is returned to the fishermen. Quality of high standards is the reason CORAL is one the best brands in Pakistan.  

• Once the fish are put in trays they are put in the blast freezer in which the fish are preserved as per international standards at -45 degrees. After the blast freezers, the fish are packed in CCI-brand Cartons. CCI’s brand “Coral” is one of the top brands Pakistan in Thailand and Malaysia.

• Every single fish is properly checked before being put in the cartons grade-wise. After being packed and sealed in the cartons fish are stored at -18 degrees. CCI has a storage capacity of 120 metric tonnes

• From the stores, the cartons are then transferred to refrigerated containers to be shipped out to the buyers.
