Craft Concepts International (CCI) was established in 1995 as an export company
that deals in haberdashery, clothing accessories, and home textiles for business
with its sister concern in South Africa, namely Zaib Textiles and Haberdashery
(ZTH). In 2005, CCI started its operations in the seafood sector, with only 20
workers and 1 million rupees in Karachi. By 2006, CCI had the distinction of being
the only company in Pakistan that was processing and exporting all types of
seafood i.e. Frozen, fresh, live, and salted. CCI became the largest exporter of Salted
Jellyfish from Pakistan along with clams and fish. The main buyers are from the South
Korea, China, and Thailand. CCI has an estimated net worth of more than PKR 600
million. CCI boasts its own state-of-the-art Fish Processing Plant equipped with
advanced and modern machineries and technology in the main coastal city of
Pishukhan, in Gwadar, with a daily capacity of 80 metric tons and a storage facility
of 120 metric tons.
